چکیده
A hybrid sliding mode controller is proposed for rapid earth fault current limiters (REFCLs) used in resonant grounded power distribution networks to self-extinguish powerline bushfires where the concepts of proportional integral (PI) action and nonsingular fast terminal surface (NFTSS) are combined together utilize benefits both schemes. designed obtaining control input so that compensation achieved by residual (RCC) inverter within a REFCL value fire does not ignite. The inclusion an along with NFTSS helps significantly reduce chattering effect. Furthermore, continuous function introduced scheme replace discontinuous signum function. switches RCC controlled deriving actions from Lyapunov stability theory applied on PI-NFTSS. performance compared controller. For this reason, paper also includes design process which using only NFTSS. Simulations under different scenarios having resistances clearly depict superiority over existing terms maintaining transient responses.
